LEHIGHTON, PA (March 5, 2024) – Maria Montero, a candidate for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District (Carbon, Lehigh, Northampton, and parts of Monroe counties) dominated in a televised Republican Primary Debate hosted by “Patriots of the Constitution” on Monday, March 4, 2024, at American Legion Post 314 in Lehighton. The debate was televised by Blue Ridge Cable TV13 moderated by Kim Bell, GM of BRC13. The video may be viewed here via You Tube.
“It is plainly obvious who won this debate—Maria Montero knows the people of PA’s 7th Congressional District better than anyone. Her care, concern, and experience as mom, attorney, and volunteer shone through in every answer”, said Campaign Manager Michelle Mattus, “Maria is driven by her passion to represent the families of PA-7. As a single mother she learned early what is most important to families…putting food on the table and keeping her family safe. Every answer came back to those points. Maria has this amazing ability to break down complicated issues and find real solutions to serve. Which is in stark contrast career politicians and warmongers in D.C. who are sending our U.S taxpayer dollars overseas, while ignoring families, veterans, and small business owners right here at home.”
“PA-7 Republicans are tired of losing to Democrats who do not represent the values of the hard-working people of this district”, continued Mattus. “We deserve better than a radical liberal like Susan Wild ridiculing us when she thinks we aren’t listening. Three candidates walked on the stage last night, but in the end, it is Maria Montero who will walk away with the win against Susan Wild in the General Election. We Republicans get amped up for our Primaries and forget about winning the General. It is exciting to see a conservative represent our values with dignity
